I want to thank everybody who entered the contest and all did incredible work. This was always a character design contest, and all three participants came up with some beautiful ideas for Phy’s new look.

After a lot of deliberating, the first place winners are: =Candy2021 and *kamikazekayti Congratulations to you both!!

When setting up the contest I implied that there might be two first place winners. And I’ve decided to go with that, as there are so many elements from these drawings that I want the final Phy re-design to contain. To be honest I would have made it three first place winners, but I thought that might break the format of a contest too much

=Candy2021 and *kamikazekayti win a full colour commission each. And I still owe =Candy2021 and ~Bad-Company a free sketch commission.

[link] by I love the dirt on her face and the tattoo, great touches The oversized wrench, handgun and her knives are also very cool! I would have loved to make this design part of her official one, but I already have a couple of aggressive, Basque/Bandeau wearing characters, and in the end I wanted to keep Phy separate. But it was a fantastic entry and I’d love to see ~Bad-Company use some of her design again.

[link] By The first thing that hit me here, was her hair! That style is pure gold The heavy long-coat and boots are incredible too. There was no way I could let her offical design not contain a long coat after seeing this I love her expression, some great personality there, and the leather straps, especially the ones around her neck and bust.

[link] By This design is made of awesome Athletic legs, wide hips and a slight roundness to her stomach, all very new and very nice! I’d never thought of giving phy glasses, but again, once I saw them there was no way her final design wouldn’t contain them! The boots look incredibly cool, and I loved the armoured, cut-off Victorian blouse, it’s beautiful and ties her nicely to a point in history
